Summer Academics at Our Houma Location

Summer Academic Sessions

    Three-hour sessions of individualized instruction in small groups at our Houma location (Summer Hours 9:00-12:00). Just choose the number of sessions you would like and schedule, and a learning coach will contact you to schedule.

    Choose from 8, 16, 20, or 28 sessions beginning June 1st and ending July 23rd. Single add-on sessions are available. Sessions start at 9:00 AM each morning and ends at 12:00 PM.

  • Optional diagnostic pretest in language arts and/or math.
  • Customized education plan for every child.
  • Prescriptive online and offline lessons and activities.
  • 3-hour sessions (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday – Thursday) on individualized small group instruction.

  • A laptop and headphones are required.

Summer Credit Recovery

Do you need to recover credit for one or more semesters of high school? eLearning Academy offers a variety of credit recovery courses to assist students in furthering their educational goals. With the permission of the student’s school, students register for credit recovery courses and receive assistance from one of our learning coaches to complete them. Students enrolled in full or half-credit courses can work from home or come in for on-site assistance. Please have our school complete the School Credit Recovery Consent Form before enrolling in a credit recovery course. This form must be returned to eLearning Houma before a course is uploaded.

Full Credit (8 onsite sessions) $400
Half Credit (4 onsite sessions) $250
Full Credit (online only) $250 plus $60 per month
Half Credit (online only) $175 plus $60 per month

  • Online only requires a $60 per month fee for teacher services.

  • If the course is not completed by July 31st, a fee of $60 per month until completion.

Summer Online Teacher Services

Students who are registered for the 2025-2026 academic year and wish to continue their courses through the summer with assistance from a learning coach can purchase summer online teacher services. This allows students to complete courses through the summer months for $125.

Additional Notes for Parents

  • Academic sessions will not be held the week of June 29th- July 3rd

  • All sessions must be completed by July 31st
