Finding the Right Device
Students attending an eLearning center are required to bring a device capable of accessing the Internet for their lessons. Laptops, Chromebooks, and certain tablets are supported. Those working from home may work on a desktop. For both in-home and onsite learning, it is required that your child has access to a pair of headphones or earbuds. Bluetooth are acceptable, but wired devices are highly recommend. Our Thibodaux location is able to provide headphones at a low-cost.
Internet browsers such as Chrome or Firefox are recommended to ensure maximum compatibility with our curriculum. Other browsers are not always guaranteed to work.
As a general recommendation, anti-virus software is highly recommended. Both Avast and Malwarebytes are recommended to ensure your child’s computer is malware-free as they work within our centers.
