Afternoon Enrichment & Extra-Curricular Classes at Our Thibodaux Site

eLearning Academy allows students to participate in a variety of programs in the arts, sciences, and more. The following classes will be offered at our Thibodaux site during the 2025-2026 school year. Browse through the classes offered, then register below.

Robotics Team

Students will experience engagement in hands-on concepts of coding, thinking, and making using LEGO® kits. eLearning Academy has fielded a team in previous years and has won second place in the state of Louisiana.

Private Piano Lessons

Students, (Pre-K through high school), will enjoy fun, instructional, and creative 30-minute classes designed to best fit each student’s needs and attention span. By using music themed games, off-the-bench activities and theory, weekly lessons are made to be enjoyable for all students. With positive encouragement, Sarah motivates her students with a reward system, and focuses on their personal accomplishment, inspiring self-esteem and confidence.

Performing Arts

“Twas the Night Before Christmas, DOT Dot dot,” an original production

Students will have creative freedom with developing their characters and script lines for their show scenes in collaboration with director, Mrs. Amy. This play has many possibilities that the students will love being able to be part of by including their own cool ideas into production. The storyline will involve nostalgic Christmas movies and stories reminiscent of everyone’s childhood, incorporating new characters and modern humor. Music will include classic Christmas songs everyone loves or fun made-up songs by cast members.

Students, (K-12th), will be guided step-by-step with enjoyable and educational techniques to draw, paint, and create mini-masterpieces to cultivate their artistic creativity as beginner, intermediate, and advanced artists.

Physical Education

Students, (0-12th), will experience a wide variety of indoor and outdoor physical activities, sports, and games.

Science Hands-On

Students, (K-8th), will enjoy performing hands-on science experiments and projects that allow them to apply their knowledge of science and engineering through planned and guided lessons.

Spirit & Faith

Students, (PreK-HS), will embrace their Christian faith by enlightening discussions, sharing sessions, and peaceful hands-on-works based on the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.

Makerspace

All students (0-12th) will have the opportunity to visit the Makerspace to apply their individual creativity in brainstorming, engineering and building structures and various things with an array of recyclables and craft items.
