Financial Assistance: Scholarships or Charter School Options
eLearning Academy provides four scholarship opportunities to assist parents with tuition. eLearning Academy cannot guarantee eligibility for or issuance of a scholarship, as they are awarded by outside entities (LA GATOR, ACE, Arete, eLearning Foundation).
ACE Scholarships
ACE Scholarships was founded in 2000 to provide low-income parents with school choice for their families through partial scholarships to K-12 private schools. ACE serves children whose families qualify for the federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year opened Monday, February 2nd, 2026, and close April 15th, 2026. ACE charges a $35 per family application fee. Scholarship recipients must reapply every academic year to qualify.
Arete Scholars
Arete Scholars provides privately funded K-12 scholarships to qualifying low-to-moderate-income families. The scholarships empower those parents who otherwise have no options to select a school that best meets their child’s unique gifts, talents, and learning needs. eLearning will notify you when applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis with priority given to current Arete, TDC, and Louisiana State Scholarship recipients. Scholarship recipients must reapply every academic year to qualify.
eLearning Foundation
eLearning Foundation offers assistance for qualifying families. Fees included are annual fees and/or academic support services. (preference given to students who don’t receive any funding assistance)
If your student does not qualify for or is not awarded assistance from any of the above opportunities, scholarships may be available through the eLearning Foundation when funds allow. eLearning Foundation will follow financial guidelines of Arete and ACE.
2026-2027 eLearning Academy Public Charter School Enrollment Information
We are pleased to announce that we are continuing our partnership with charter schools for the 2026-2027 school year. Through this exciting program, our students can access eLearning Academy’s platform with our curriculum and Learning Coaches using eLearning Academy’s Level 3H (Home-based Virtual) option.
eLearning Academy has been approved as a local support and testing site for our public charter school learning pod program. Learning pods are defined in state statute RS 17:4036.1 as a group of 10 more students connected to a school governing authority. Through this unique partnership, our students are enrolled as public-school students while still receiving the same high-quality, customized model of education that eLearning Academy is known for. This program is for K-8th and 9th-12th students who live in Louisiana and who can physically attend one of our approved eLearning Academy centers.
Since this is a public-school program, the program and our students are subject to all state and federal requirements including attendance. Students will be expected to maintain adequate academic progress and performance. Students failing to make anticipated gains will be required to attend the appropriate eLearning Academy center 1 or more times per week. Additionally, LEAP testing will be required for all students grades 3rd-8th while high school students will have to take ACT/WorkKeys and EOC tests.
