2024-2025 eLearning Academy Public Charter School Enrollment Information

We are pleased to announce that we are continuing our partnership with charter schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Through this exciting program, our students can access eLearning Academy’s platform with our curriculum and Learning Coaches using eLearning Academy’s Level 3H (Home-based Virtual) option.

eLearning Academy has been approved as a local support and testing site for our public charter school learning pod program. Learning pods are defined in state statute RS 17:4036.1 as a group of 10 more students connected to a school governing authority. Through this unique partnership, our students are enrolled as public-school students while still receiving the same high-quality, customized model of education that eLearning Academy is known for. This program is for K-8th and 9th-12th students who live in Louisiana and who can physically attend one of our approved eLearning Academy centers.

Since this is a public-school program, the program and our students are subject to all state and federal requirements including attendance. Students will be expected to maintain adequate academic progress and performance. Students failing to make anticipated gains will be required to attend the appropriate eLearning Academy center 1 or more times per week. Additionally, LEAP testing will be required for all students grades 3rd-8th while high school students will have to take ACT/WorkKeys and EOC tests.

Students and their families must:

  • Register with eLearning Academy. You can also email:

  • Enroll in the appropriate charter school using the following link: (Learning Pod Enrollment).

  • Routinely join a virtual classroom with a Learning Coach a minimum of 2 days per week for K-8th students and 1 day per week for 9th-12th students.

  • Participate in and try their best on all benchmark, interim, and state/LEAP/EOC/ACT standardized tests.

  • Maintain course pacing with evidence of student work, best effort, and time-on-task.

  • Comply with attendance requirements at the onsite eLearning Academy center, in place of the virtual classroom, if pacing and performance targets are not achieved.

  • Return to the charter school’s main campus if pacing and performance issues are not resolved by onsite attendance.

Benefits of learning pod participation include:

  • Full coverage of public education, workbooks, fees, etc. (2-day 4 hours for K-8th and 1-day 4 hours for 9th-12th of instruction) when participating in eLearning Academy’s Level 3H (Home-based Virtual) option.

  • Instruction from one or more certified teachers and specialists in various subject areas.

  • Access to valuable performance metrics derived from required benchmark and standardized assessments.

  • Use of Chromebook or similar device for lessons and assessments.

  • Appropriate services for qualifying students in the areas of gifted, talented, and special needs as substantiated through the SBLC process and consistent with federal law.

  • Note that registration and workbook fees (where applicable) will be collected as normal for all eLearning Academy students.  Upon completion of ALL Charter School enrollment requirements, said fees will be refunded.
